Recap of our successful evening on February 10th, 2018!
The Irish Season begins each year in Chateauguay and the Valley with the Queen and Court Pageant. This year the C.V.I.H.A. held the annual event on Feb 10th, 2018.
More than 100 people attended this year!
Various dignitaries graced us with their presence. To name a few we had the Right Honorable Brenda Shanahan, our Member of the National Assembly in Québec City Mr. Pierre Moreau, as well as various city Councillors from Chateauguay.
This year we were honored with the attendance of The United Irish Societies of Montreal, The Erin Sports Association, The Hudson Parade Committee, and Kennedy's Celtic Boutique.
Thank to all our fantastic volunteers and sponsors! They are the ones who made this evening possible.
The Contestants
Our contestants this year were incredible to say the least. These accomplished women stood in front of over a hundred people to go through three rounds of public speaking! They did an incredible job! Through all the nervousness and hustle and bustle of the evening these young women carried themselves with grace and poise in all that they did.
The Winners
Queen Shaunessa Boyle-Giuliani
All four of our winners are Chateauguay natives, with a lot of volunteer time put into the community. They will make Chateauguay very proud.
The Queen of our 2018 court is Ms. Shaunessa Boyle-Giuliani. Accompanied by her two senior princesses; Ms. Kathleen Davidson, and Ms. Emma-Rose Alie Magill, as well as her junior princess Ms. Michaela McGinn.
Next year's pageant!
Start spreading the word about this incredible event to your friends and family so we can have more incredible young women have this unreal experience.
